This course is designed for educational assistants working with teachers who have completed ÐÓ°Épro’s Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Plus 30-hour training. ÐÓ°Épro’s Educational Assistant Course is a hands-on, interactive, and personalized class that provides an understanding of ÐÓ°Épro’s enhanced Orton-Gillingham methodology and the tools necessary to support its implementation in the classroom. This is an 18-hour course, offered both in-person and live virtual.
ÐÓ°Épro’s Educational Assistant Course provides educators with the knowledge and resources to support beginning reading instruction (concepts m–ending blends) in the following areas:
- Three-Part Drill
- Letter formation
- Word and sentence dictation
- Teaching irregular words (i.e., Red Words)
- Decodable readers
